From Classroom to City: Student Research for Real-World Impact

Séminaires et conférences
19 mai
12h15
- 15h00
Campus ULB-VUB USquare

How can student-led research contribute to addressing real-world urban challenges? What is the value of collaboration between universities and non-academic organizations such as NGOs, civic associations, firms, and government administrations?

This panel session marks the closing of ULB-VUB Master in Urban Studies Project Seminar in Applied Urban Research, in which master’s students have worked on real-world briefs commissioned by external partners.
Together with representatives from academia, policy, and this year’s student teams and project clients, we will reflect on the value of applied urban research, its impact, and the potential for future collaborations.
Are you a potential partner interested in engaging with next year’s Project Seminar or other student-led research projects? This event is a great opportunity to learn more and connect!
